Wall Paper Lamination

Woven fabrics can shift or distort along the bias when handled or stretched over furniture frames. A non-woven backing locks the weave in place, keeping the pattern stable during installation and upholstery work.

Cut edges of woven fabric can fray and loosen over time. The bonded non-woven layer holds the yarns in place and stops progressive unraveling — important when fabric is cut, stapled, or tacked onto frames.

The laminate improves tensile and tear strength, which matters where fabric is stapled, pulled taut, or subject to repeated stress — seating, arms, and corners.
